Ok, I had all week troubles with LJ formating (CSS) on one of the computer. But "now" everything is allright. So is my computer browser "broken" or was LJ acting like a brat all week?

I made some change to the HD5 spoiler forum layout.

Me hope that peeple will like it.

But I need somebody to test something for me.

I made subforums, but I don't know if the password cover them or not. Somebody can check that out for me.

You just have to click on the subforum name in the index page. (make sure that you can't log into the spoiler world forum first, meaning that the password expired and that you need to re-enter it).

Thanks for the effort!

ETA: Finally answered my own question. With a big NO. So doubling the pw must I do.

Here we go again. Another "school" shooting in Montreal. 3rd in 15 years.

News are:
happened at around 12:40 in the cafeteria. (that's end of lunch time)
20 wounded, 11 criticals. (give or take a few peps...no news seem to say the same numbers right now)
4 dead.
1 or more shooters...1 of which might have been killed..ie the cops killed somebody, but they don't know if he's the right one.

New type of music for BSG: speed/power metal

So I'm "arguing" with a "nice" felllow on Skiffy about changing the music of BSG.

He want speed metal and really I'm wondering if that would fit the medium (actually he's talking about power metal). Now he did suggest Yngwie Malmsteen, and well Yngwie didn't just do speedmetal/powermetal/shrad. He also made 2 albums with full symphonic orchestra and his electric guitar...really nice work. And I once thought that it could fit in BSG.

But then he suggested Dragonforce.

Dragonforce? First they're not that good. Second they are not really epic either. It's not because emo!Kids like them that BSG should use them.

Beside Heavenly is better. And Lust for Life from the album Dust to Dust really should be in BSG ;)

Linux is spreading

After China, one of Spain region made a linux distro for its schools and governmental institutions.

Now, France police department use OpenOffice (free full feature office application) and the like too.

So, who want to bet that in 5+ years, pretty much every governmental institutions in the world, including education and military, are going to be using a Linux distro...with free applications on them.

Will poor little mid-class employees are going to be buying Vista at $400 US, because games are only made for Microsoft, Adobe only make stuff for Microsoft (and Mac, but now Windows is going to work like a charm on the lastest Mac with Intel processor) and Microsoft only make stuff for, well, Microsoft.

And yes, I love my Linux distro and I don't miss much from Windows. Except boring games and macromedia flash to make nice little music and video players for fan awards.
